Shipping and returns

Where we deliver

We deliver to Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and France. In France we deliver to mainland France and Corsica only, not to the French overseas territories or to Monaco.

Shipping costs

• Shipping costs depend on the delivery country and the weight of your order. You see them in your cart, before checkout.
• Belgium: free shipping from €85 of products.
• The Netherlands, Luxembourg and France: free shipping from €125 of products.

The free-shipping threshold applies to the total value of the products (including VAT), excluding shipping costs.

Maximum 30 kg per order

An order can weigh at most 30 kg. Would you like to order more, or collect your order? Email us at info@fertilize-it.be: a larger order can be collected from us by appointment or delivered on a pallet.

Packing, carriers and delivery time

We pack every order ourselves and send it by standard delivery through MyParcel, with bpost, PostNL or DPD. We deliver to the address you give when you order.

We ship your order within 1 to 2 working days after we receive your payment. Delivery time: delivery takes up to 7 days. If your delivery is delayed, we will let you know.

[Lawyer: Article VI.45/2 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law (in force since 31 March 2024) requires at least two delivery methods for deliveries in Belgium, unless an exception applies. The shop offers standard delivery only, with collection by arrangement by email. Confirm whether this complies.]

Damaged parcel, missing products or no delivery

Until delivery, Alammax BV bears the risk of loss or damage in transit.

Is the parcel visibly damaged or leaking when it arrives?

• If possible, have the damage noted by the delivery person, or refuse the parcel.
• Take photos of the packaging and the products.
• Email us as soon as possible at info@fertilize-it.be with your order number and the photos.

The same applies if your parcel does not arrive or products are missing. Once we have your photos, we send you a new product or refund you, free of charge. The sooner you tell us, the sooner we can settle it with the carrier; it is not a condition for your legal rights.

A defect that only shows later is covered by the 2-year legal guarantee (see article 8 of our terms of sale).

Right of withdrawal

Your right

As a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from the contract without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which you, or a third party you have designated who is not the carrier, take physical possession of the products. If your order arrives in several parcels, the period expires 14 calendar days after the day you receive the last parcel. You may also withdraw before you receive the products.

To meet the deadline, it is enough to send your withdrawal before the period has expired.

How to withdraw

• Online: click "Withdraw from contract here" on our website or go to fertilize-it.be/en/withdraw. The link is also in every email about your order. Fill in your name, your order number and your email address and, if you wish, the products you are returning. Then confirm with "Confirm withdrawal". We immediately send you an acknowledgement of receipt by email, with the content of your withdrawal and the date and time you submitted it.
• By email: send an unambiguous statement to info@fertilize-it.be.
• By letter: send an unambiguous statement to Alammax BV, Westkapellestraat 370a, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium.

By email or letter, you may use the model withdrawal form at the bottom of this page (it is also attached to your order confirmation), but you do not have to.

Returning the products

Send the products back without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after the day on which you told us about your withdrawal. You are in time if you send them back before the 14 days have expired.

Return address, unless we give you another one: Alammax BV (Fertilize-it), Westkapellestraat 370a, 8300 Knokke-Heist, Belgium.

You will have to bear the direct cost of returning the products. [Lawyer: confirm that the consumer may be charged the direct cost of return.]

Pack the products carefully so that they are not damaged and do not leak in transit.

Refund

We refund all payments received from you, including the original standard delivery cost, without undue delay and at the latest 14 days after the day on which we are informed of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the products back or you have supplied proof of having sent them back, whichever is the earliest. We use the same means of payment as you used for your order, unless you expressly agree otherwise; you will not pay any fees for the refund.

[Lawyer: confirm which delivery cost is refunded when only part of an order is withdrawn, including orders that were shipped free because they reached the threshold.]

Diminished value

You are only liable for any diminished value of the products resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Exceptions

At present, no product is excluded from the right of withdrawal. [Lawyer: decide whether the exception for sealed goods unsealed after delivery applies to opened bottles; until then no exclusion]
