We don’t sell fertilizer. We sell results.

At the garden centre, fifteen bags sit side by side, and not one knows what your lawn really needs. Our formulas come straight from sports-turf maintenance, and are matched to your soil, not to a marketing segment.

What truly sets us apart (and what is not marketing).

Everyone claims “premium”. Below is what that means with us, measurable and verifiable.

Temperature Controlled Slow Release (CRF), our entire granular line.

Every granule has a polymer coating that releases nutrients based on soil temperature, not rain, not the calendar. So no shocks, no burning, no waste. One application feeds for 8 to 12 weeks.

Born on the golf course.

Our formulas grew out of 7 years of greenkeeping on professional golf courses, dosed for a family garden.

A soil analysis tailored to your garden.

Spread an NPK mix without a soil analysis and you’re spreading blind. For €129 we put a stop to that: 20 measurements, from nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium to trace elements, pH and organic matter, followed by a written 2-year fertiliser plan (in Belgium and the Netherlands).

Less leaching, less water.

The coating releases only what the plant can take up, so far less washes through into groundwater, and a CRF-fed lawn needs noticeably less watering through summer.

We call you, not the other way round.

Four weeks after your first order, our adviser calls you unprompted. Did the package work? Unsure about dosage? No call centre: the same people who give the advice also know your soil report.

The technology behind every Fertilize-it granule.

For those who want to know why a Fertilize-it granule behaves differently. No marketing, just how CRF works.

  1. Polymer coating per granule.

Every granule gets a layer of biodegradable polymer. The thickness of that layer sets the release speed, thinner = faster, thicker = slower.

  2. Release driven by temperature.

From 10 °C soil temperature, nutrients diffuse through the membrane, exactly when the grass takes them up. At 4 °C they wait in the granule. No waste on cold ground.

  3. Predictable, not impulsive.

Classic NPK peaks in week 1 and is gone by week 4. CRF stays in the “safe zone”: enough to grow, too little to burn. 8 to 12 weeks straight.

  4. Less leaching, less watering.

Nutrients are released only when the grass needs them, so less than 8% leaches into groundwater. Classic NPK: 40–60%.

Fertilize-it vs. garden centre vs. the backyard recipe.

We have no interest in being unfair. Here’s everything, including where Fertilize-it loses.
