Every granule gets a layer of biodegradable polymer. The thickness of that layer sets the release speed — thinner = faster, thicker = slower.
From 10°C soil temperature, nutrients diffuse through the membrane — exactly when the grass takes them up. At 4°C they wait in the granule. No waste on cold ground.
